Emergencies:
When the Office is Closed – If you have an emergency, immediately call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room or go to any Urgent care.
Electronic Medical Records:
Now we have 100% electronic medical records system in our office, This new system provide best care for our Patients, This EMR provide us Electronic Prescription (e-RX) and fast service to all local drug stores/Pharmacies. We do receive all Labs & other results faster thru this new EMR system.
Appointments:
We are not accepting new patients. Dr khalid Currently internal medicine practice is in the process of transferring all patients to Wellspan Internal Medicine, Located at 2055 Scotland Ave, Chambersburg PA 17201. Please call at 717-217-6055 for a appointment. If you want your records to be released to another provider, please have that office fax the medical records release form to 717-999-7404.
Cancellation of Appointments:
Appointments for office visits and testing should be cancelled 24 hours in advance so that we may make those times available to other patients.
Medical Records:
The information in your records is confidential and protected by HIPAA. Your information will not be given out unless you have signed release forms in our office allowing us to do so. There may be a charge for copying and sending records. You will be informed of any charge at the time of your request.
Return Phone Calls:
Because our Doctor have a full-schedule of patients to see each day, She most often return calls at the end of the day. Phone calls are returned in the order they are received.
Prescription Refills:
It is important that you do not let your prescriptions run out. Please call (717) 977-3344 for refill. Please note that prescriptions cannot be refilled on weekends and when our office is closed for holidays. Refill or new prescription need 72 hours advance notice.
Lab and Test Results:
You will be either informed at the time of your visit or phoned by our office with your lab or test results.
Payment for Services:
Services are available to everyone. We participate with most insurances and accept Medical Assistance and Medicare. We have a sliding fee scale for those who qualify, and we will work with patients to set up a payment plan if necessary. Your payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Now we accept cash, checks or credit/debit cards.
